In Portofino, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s fashion brand showcased their summer capsule collection, created in collaboration with the Nyse-listed e-tailer. Dolce&Gabbana and Mytheresa joined forces to create a remarkable fashion capsule collection at the Piazzetta of Portofino. This iconic location serves as the inspiration for the collection, with the flower-framed postcard and awning stripe motifs making frequent appearances across the various looks and accessories.

Mytheresa made a grand entrance in Portofino, hosting an exclusive fashion show to unveil the new #DGxMytheresa collection at the town’s Piazzetta. The collection, available for purchase online, is a #MytheresaExclusive that pays homage to the Italian Riviera. It features hand-painted style prints showcasing the sea, views of the town, and the Mediterranean nature, all presented with elegance and vibrant colours.

The designers expressed their deep affection for Portofino, considering it a “classic summer destination” in their bel paese, embodying an unmistakable Italian imagery that they have always explored and identified with. Through their work, they aim to “tell and transfer this heritage, especially onto the new generations.”

Tiffany Hsu from Mytheresa echoed these sentiments, praising Italy as the ultimate destination for its holiday vibes, food, colours, and warmth. She emphasized that Dolce & Gabbana truly captures the essence of Italian-ness, making them the perfect partner for this collaboration.

The Dolce & Gabbana x Mytheresa collection offers a range of pieces, including brand classics like bustier dresses and full skirts, as well as more relaxed and summery silhouettes such as chemisier maxi dresses, sarong skirts, and balconette bra swimsuits. The collection also includes “mini-me” matching mother-and-daughter dresses, showcasing a focus on girlswear. Silk dresses adorned with postcard prints from the Riviera, tank tops with glimpses of the sea, tailor stripes, decorative head scarves, cat-eyeglasses, and bling jewellery tell the story of summers on the chicest Riviera.
