Prestigious French jewellery house CARTIER has announced the talented and gorgeous Elle Fanning as the brand’s latest global ambassador. She is also the new face of their Grain de Café collection.
Elle Fanning has celebrated the beginning of this collaboration with Cartier by wearing pieces from the Grain de Café collection to the Metropolitan Museum of Art: Met Gala in New York City, embodying the elegance and glamour synonymous with the collection.
The Grain de Café collection was launched back in 1938, and designed by Jeanne Touissant. It rose to fame in the 1950s when actresses Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly started wearing it. This collection was reintroduced to the Cartier fold in 2022 with a mix of pieces meant to be worn as part of a woman’s everyday wardrobe, noting that the Grain de Café collection is all about the “freedom to surpass literal creative execution and develop a multi-sensory architecture.”
Thus, Elle Fanning becomes the perfect and natural fit for the latest collection inspired by Grace Kelly and her links to the French Riviera and the golden age of Hollywood.
