Iconic fashion brand FENDI unveiled its latest Astrology Summer 2023 collection capsule collection, starring supermodel Irina Shayk.
Italian luxury fashion house, FENDI, unveiled its latest Astrology Summer 2023 Capsule Collection, drawing inspiration from Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic zodiac sign prints and the alluring silhouettes of the Spring-Summer 1993 collection. The Maison aimed to redefine its timeless codes under the visionary guidance of designer Kim Jones, who reimagined the brand’s codes in a contemporary way with streetwear influences, intertwining seamlessly with FENDI’s signature style.
The Fendi Astrology Summer 2023 Capsule Collection included swimwear items crafted from environmentally-conscious recycled Lycra alongside an exquisite array of satin caftans and dresses that boast a celestial tapestry of zodiac designs conceived by the brilliant mind of Lagerfeld himself.
The collection also includes knitwear, including crocheted dresses with double-F emblems, cosy cashmere sweaters, and form-fitting viscose pieces. In addition, the collection includes sun-bleached denim, silk jerseys, and the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette purses in white leather or embroidered with astrological motifs.
Silvia Venturini Fendi, the artistic director of accessories and menswear also presents a divine selection of beach-ready woven masterpieces, including an irresistible raffia shopper and a charming straw bucket purse. But the magic doesn’t end there! Delfina Delettrez Fendi, the creative director of jewellery, sprinkles luck and allure throughout the collection with captivating lucky charms that can be flaunted as single earrings or worn as pendant necklaces. Furthermore, the textile bracelets are crafted to perfectly complement the mesmerizing prints found on the ready-to-wear garments.
Fashion photographer Steven Meisel captured the campaign starring supermodel Irina Shayk. In charge of styling was Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele, with set design from Mary Howard, and casting direction by Shelley Durkan. Beauty is the work of hair stylist Guido Palau and makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath.
