The Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles was dressed up to host the 13th edition of the Governors Awards, also known as the ‘Honorary Oscars’. These awards recognize the career in the film industry of its winners and have become the perfect prelude to the Oscars.

Awards season has officially begun! While the Baby2Baby Awards, MTV EMAs Awards and American Music Awards still be just days ago, celebs turned out in style for the 13th annual Governors Awards hosted by the Academy of Motion.
The Governors Awards usually celebrates awards conferred by the Academy’s Board of Governors, which includes the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award. This year’s award gala honoured actor Michael J. Fox, songwriter Dianne Warren, and filmmakers Euzhan Palcy and Peter Weir at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City.
Presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, the ceremony attracted the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Austin Butler and more stars who were all decked out in their red-carpet best.

Eddie Redmayne arrived at the 2022 Governors Awards’ red carpet wearing a black silk suit by Alexander McQueen. He finished the look with a silver flower brooch on his lapel.

Jennifer Lawrence opted for a simple styling look. She wore a black tulle embroidered dress by Dior Spring 2023 collection, which featured spaghetti straps.
