The Met Gala might be known as fashion’s biggest night out, but that doesn’t mean beauty takes a back seat. This year’s edition, which was in honour to late designer, Karl Lagerfeld, also presented boldest and stunning hair and makeup looks.
Hollywood A-listers, celebrities, influencers, and supermodels wore incredible beauty looks on the red carpet, whether extravagant, emphasise their lips, eyes, or just a glam makeup looks. Their makeup and hair stylists did an amazing job and all that hard work really paid off! For instance, Cardi B wore a silver-toned bob with flipped ends, tied with a leather hairband. Rita Ora wore a sultry smokey eye, texture curls and chic nail design, and Rihanna wore her usual powerful red lipstick.

Sydney Sweeney stunned on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet as she wore subtle glam, loose waves, and a giant hair bow. Her beauty look was the softest of soft girls.

Rita Ora looked beautiful on the red carpet as she wore her hair sleek and centre-parted. Her lit-from-within glow was courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury herself.
GIGI HADID
Another of the stars who have caused a stir is the American model Gigi Hadid, who wore a semi-collected, relaxed hairstyle. In addition, in terms of makeup, the artist wore soft silvery eyeshadow and a single pearl centred under the lower lash line of each eye to denote her look to the fullest and make her radiant and flawless skin.

The singer dazzled on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet wearing a classic goth and dark feminine style. She complemented her outfit by wearing her hair parted down the middle and finesses into an intricate tight and voluminous braid, adorned with black ribbons and a complete outline that made her made look amazing on the carpet.

As usual, the singer wore an incredible fashion and beauty look on the red carpet. For the occasion, she changed her black hair for a chic silver-toned bob with flipped ends, tied with a leather hairband. “Cardi always embodies not only elegance but her unconventional sense of style,” La’Pearl said of the look in a press release.
RIHANNA
Cara Delevingne nailed it on the beauty front, opting for a risky outfit and an outstanding beauty look that did not go unnoticed. The singer wore powerful red lipstick and dark glasses to match her dress. “For the 2023 Met Gala, we paired an iconic Rihanna-red lip with a glamorous yet edgy high-shimmer, pearlescent eye,” her makeup artist Priscilla Ono said in a press release.
