A-listers from around the globe flew into Mumbai to attend possibly one of the most-anticipated events of the year.
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was back this year, with an unforgettable gala event where Bollywood and Hollywood’s finest turned out for the event in Mumbai on Saturday to celebrate the Centre’s grand opening. Celebrities from across the world brought their A fashion game to the Day 2 of the grand opening of the NMACC to the pink carpet for India In Fashion exhibit. It was a first-of-its-kind costume exhibit, showcasing over 140 stunning pieces of India-inspired costumes that told the story of India’s impact on global fashion between the 18th and 21st centuries.
Built to celebrate and highlight Indian art and fashion, celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Penélope Cruz, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Malaika Arora, Shah Rukh Khan with Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, Ranveer Singh, Tom Holland, Law Roach, Sara Ali Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad, Karisma Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Rekha, Kajol, Arjun Kapoor, and more stars attended the event donning head-turning looks to the event.
One of the stars who made a stunning appearance at the event was the “Euphoria” actress, Zendaya, who attended the prestigious event and dazzled on the pink carpet. Zendaya and her boyfriend, Tom Hollad, arrived in India on Friday. Many fans expected them to appear on the red carpet of Friday’s event as well, but they left them disappointed. For the occasion, Zendaya wore a purple sparkly sari by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. Styled by Law Roach, the ensemble was paired with Bulgari jewellery. Tom Holland also stunned as he opted for a suited avatar by Hugo BOSS. “Thank you to the Ambani family for welcoming us to the NMACC grand opening. A truly amazing experience that I will never forget,” he wrote.

On the first day of the launch, supermodel Gigi Hadid also arrived at the NMACC gala evening wearing a white and gold sari by designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. On another occasion of the NMACC weekend, supermodel Gigi Hadid opted for a colourful printed outfit by Rahul Mishra.
Award-winning actor Alia Bhatt looked ravishing in a silver ensemble by Vaishali S Couture. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the Indian star completed her look with a neat bun, glowing make-up, and diamond jewellery.
Another international celebrity who attended the event was the stunning Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The actress attended the NMACC gala wearing a beautiful pink, sparkly Elie Saab gown. The outfit included ruffled sleeves and sequin detailing. As for her footwear, the star opted for a open-toe sparkling multicoloured shoes by Christian Louboutin. She also wore Bulgari jewellery, including a diamond triple choker necklace and a bracelet with the brand’s signature snake. Nick Jonas dapper in a blue formal suit. The two looked completely adorable as they posed for the paparazzi at the event.
For day two, Priyanka Chopra wore a multi-coloured ensemble by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. She mentioned in the caption, “This beautiful outfit was created using a 65-year-old vintage Banarasi patola (Brocade) saree with silver threads and a gold electroplating on khadi silk. It is paired with a sequins sheet holographic bustier to reflect the nine colours of ikat weave that the brocade is set in.”
Spanish actor Penélope Cruz dazzled in a pink gown by Tamara Ralph Couture at the gala event this weekend. The Vanilla Sky star paired her look with elegant diamond earrings, and a high pony hairstyle.
Deepika Padukone attended the NMACC gala event in a custom gold attire by Indian designer Anamika Khanna. The Piku star paired her look with a bright red lip, and statement gold jewellery. Along her side is husband and actor Ranveer Singh who looks regal in an off-white suit.
