Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2023: The Most Outstanding Looks

The Oscars red carpet was the beginning of a night full of fashion. Discover the 6 best dressed celebs.

Kylie Jenner

Not all of the best looks of the Oscars 2023 were on the red carpet, but at the after party. ‘Vanity Fair’ usually holds an ‘after party’ for celebrities after the Oscar Awards, and the 2023 Oscars was no exception. Several celebrities splurged elegance during the event.

Organized by editor-in-chief Radhika Jones, the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party started in 1995 and has become the most popular party to attend in Hollywood. Aside from the colour of the carpet, the celebrities in attendance and the beautiful red carpet gowns appeared as usual in true after-party style.

The Oscar after-party red carpet was much more risqué than the Oscars. Plunging necklines, micro tops, tight silhouettes and transparencies took over the Vanity Fair party. Hunter Schafer was the star of the night with the new Ann Demeulemeester, just a week after the debut of Ludovic de Saint Sernin at Paris Fashion Week, wearing a feather as a top. And she wasn’t the only one to go for the risk. Like her, Ciara, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Eva Longoria or Halle Berry, Alessandra Ambrosio and Emily Ratajowsky did not hesitate to choose the most striking of the season’s designs that are also invading the street style: transparencies. And speaking of trends, white-dominated the looks of the official red carpet of the Oscars 2023. The party looks became nocturnal with the presence of black and navy blue, perfect for the occasion. Gigi Hadid was dazzling in a fiery red Zac Posen dress, being one of the few who chose this colour that is trending this season.

We’ve rounded up our favourite looks from the Vanity Fair 2023 party.

NAOMI CAMPBELL

The 52-year-old supermodel wore a look from Daniel Roseberry’s spring/summer 2023 couture collection for Schiaparelli: a figure-hugging cream dress adorned with skillfully placed paillettes, floral bibs and gold nipple detailing. Naomi completed the look with a pair of nude heels, layers of Briony Raymond necklaces and an eye-catching bracelet.

KYLIE JENNER

Kylie was one of the celebrities invited to the film awards after-party, where she wore a very elegant dress in a silver satin fabric. Kylie Jenner had the help of the stylists who usually dress her, Alexandra Rose and Mackenzie Grandquist, to choose this tight-fitting dress with a bow on the strapless neckline, by Maison Margiela.

MEGAN THEE STALLION

Megan Thee Stallion returned to the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in a custom Bach Mai FW23. The Houston rapper wore an all-black mermaid evening gown designed by Law Roach. Mai dressed Megan in a black version of a dress from her Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection for a comeback that boasted dazzling elegance.

HUNTER SCHAFER

Hunter Schafer showed off her toned physique wearing Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s viral micro top creation for this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. The look consisted of a marvellously draped white silk skirt and a matching strapless micro top in the shape of a feather. This look was so open and simple cause it used the body as an accessory. However, it was definitely one of the most interesting looks from the evening party.

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI

Emily Ratajkowski killed this dress! Styled by Carlos Nazario, she wore a naked dress from London designer Feben, which had lace-up details wrapped around her back and front. She also wore long sleeves and a mock neck, as she paired the dress with somewhat-visible heels, beige mid-rise thong underwear by Commando and shiny diamond earrings.

GIGI HADID

Supermodel Gigi Hadid continues to serve look after look. She wore an optimum Old Hollywood glamour look to the 2023 Oscars after-party. Her look comprised a scarlet off-the-shoulder Zac Posen gown and matching red Jimmy Choo stilettos, as well as a diamond-encrusted necklace and rings.
