“I think we’re entering a more minimal phase,” London-based designer Nensi Dojaka said of her Fall 2023 collection.

Beloved London-based designer Nensi Dojaka unveiled her latest Fall 2023 Ready-To-Wear collection, adapting her usual codes for fall and expanding its scope this season. Inspired by the female form, Dojaka said, “It’s about representing different kinds of girls,”
Known for Y2K nostalgia and bodycon, for this fall 2023, the designer expanded her iconic codes, resulting in pieces that were daring, evocative, and sensual. She wanted to reflect her consciousness to adapt barely-there designs for cooler climates, keeping her customer front of mind. She created her designs with florals motifs, but with a wintry bent. “Expanding the wardrobe based what I’ve done before,” Dojaka explained backstage. “And I guess it was more minimal because I think we’re entering a more minimal phase.” This could be seen in outwear pieces, including cropped leather jackets and faux fur, as well as sparkling of leggings.

Her collection was rendered in black, magenta and red, with sheer fabric twisted into florals (décolletage like petals or hung from the breast in the shape of a rose). Model Imaan Hamaam wore a “snowdrop dress” inspired by nature – a delicate tulle silhouette scattered with Swarovski crystals, cotton balls and pearls that fell on the body like flakes. Model Maggie Maurer wore a transparent sequin tube dress, while Paloma Elsesser wore one of the structured LBDs. Other models wore cropped jackets, straight-legged denim, cardigans, velvet jumpsuits, light fabrics, long dresses, and plenty of cut-outs.
The designer also implemented new codes: the flashes of icy sequins covering pants and skin-baring halter tops. The collection also included jeans, small leather blousons, long tailored coats, tight leggings, sleek knits and even a chunky faux fur studded with big crystals. New designs also included kitten heels and a jewellery range created in collaboration with Bunney, which took form as sculptural silver cuffs, earrings, belt details and pendants suspended on leather necklaces.

Models, fashion consultants, actresses or singers, such as Ashley Graham, Rina Lipa, Pixie Geldoff, and Hana Cross meet in the Nensi Dojaka’s front row during London Fashion Week to witness the proposals from one of the most exclusive fashion brands.
